Scottish games cafe announces permanent closure in shock statement

A SCOTTISH cafe has announced its sudden closure.

Pop'n'Tee, a gaming cafe in Cambuslang, said that the shock news was due to an “ongoing personal issue”.

It came after the cafe closed for two days running, on Friday March 14 and Saturday March 15.

Owners said they would be closing for good in a statement on Monday, March 17.

“Due to an ongoing personal issue Pop N Tee will close from today,” they said on Facebook.

“We want to thank the local community and customers for all their support over the last year.

“We will now look to transfer ownership of the leasehold for the property.

“Anyone still due a prize, this will still be issued once it's been received.”

The gaming cafe also had an online business selling collectibles.

Its website stated: “Pop'n'Tee was set up to give the people of Glasgow a space to be a Geek. A safe space to game, meet like-minded people and expand knowledge of the geek and collectible world.”
