The housing market is a bit of a roller-coaster at the moment with house prices sky rocketing in some parts of the city in areas such as the west end and southside.
But it's not just Glasgow that has seen this sharp rise with many other places across the UK also noticing a jump in 'offers over' prices.
But if you are on the luckier side of the housing market and have a few million to spare, then you may want to snap up this castle - and fast.

Situated in the seaside resort of Dornoch in Sutherland, the £2.5 million castle is certainly an impressive purchase. And if the castle alone isn't enough to impress, owners can have a chance to run their very own bar and restaurant.
The 22-bed property comes with an en-suit in each of the rooms and on top of the potential dining opportunities, it also comes with the potential to turn it into a hotel.
Scotland is known for its golfing and this is something that potential owners can take advantage of with the hotel being popular for international players due to it sitting opposite The Royal Dornoch Championship Golf Course. As well as being popular with golfers the area attracts specialist car tours, walkers and cyclists and there is first class shooting, stalking and salmon fishing available on nearby estates and rivers.
The historic 15th century property has it's own walled garden and modern extension at the rear. Constructed of stone and slate, Dornoch Castle Hotel comes with its very own five storey tower located at the south west side and large chimney dating from the 1500s on the south side.
It became a hotel back in 1947 and has since been taken great care of in a bid to preserve it's character and charm. According to Rightmove, the current owners are only the third since 1947 with the property being listed as Grade B by Historic Scotland lying within a conservation area.
Going into detail about each area of the property, Rightmove have said that the restaurant is of "conservatory style and has space for up to 70 covers, which looks into the attractive walled garden which has additional outdoor seating."
It also comes with a private dining and tasting room which can hold up to 10 people called 'The Vault'.- The bar is another popular feature with it being popular with guests and locals alike boating a large selection of malt whiskies and a spectacular original open fire place.
Looking at the 22-bedrooms, the estate agent says that it comes with 10 deluxe rooms in the older parts of the building and 12 garden rooms in the modern extension. They add that the rooms in the older part of the building have "stunning architectural features and are fitted out to a luxurious level including hand carved four poster beds, three with Jacuzzi baths and two with open fires."
Other features in the property include rooms for staff, a modern kitchen, cellar, dry store, storage rooms, laundry and a management office together with ladies, gentleman and disabled WC’s.
The town itself has a good range of shops and services including a health centre, primary school as well as an Academy and University of Highlands and Islands facility.
