Scott Thomas has broken his silence after the news dropped that his ex-girlfriend Kady McDermott is heading back to Love Island for a second attempt at finding The One.
Kady, 27, is one of the most famous bombshells to ever step foot in the Mallorcan villa, having appeared in the second series of the hit ITV2 show, where she soon coupled up with Scott.
The pair finished third in their series, and moved together to Manchester before splitting a year later in what ended up being a huge shock for fans of the show.
Since then, Kady has had a string of relationships including with TOWIE star Myles Barnett as well as a brief romance with Matty Cash.
She was always known as a 'pocket rocket' because of her feisty nature, and some of the most famous moments of the past ten series are down to her.
Scott, 34, didn't quite lift the lid on how he feels about Kady heading back into the famous Love Island villa to find 'the one', but he did however open up about how far he has come since appearing on the ITV2 dating show alongside the brunette bombshell.
Since appearing on Love Island way back when, Scott has since went sober, and has been loving his more chilled out life.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough in an episode of his 'Learning As I Go podcast, Scott told viewers of his decision to ditch the booze in an attempt to fall in love with himself.
Captioning the snap, Scott wrote: "I always say that being sober on a night out is like having a superpower. Back in my partying days, when I met someone who was sober on a night out, someone who was purely just enjoying life, I felt like they were a superhero.
"They were people that I looked up to and almost admired. I never thought for one second, I could ever be that guy.
"I needed alcohol for confidence, and it was almost by "escape" from life every single time I went out.
"However, through deciding to go sober I've started to become really comfortable with who I am, and I don't feel like I need to become someone else anymore to enjoy myself."
It comes after Kady revealed that she has her eyes firmly on one of the Islanders already, and she is worried that another one is playing a game.
Asked who she has set her sights on, she said: "Zach’s my number one, Tyrique on looks, but he might need his ego putting down a little bit. I also want to get to know Mitch. Age is a big thing for me, immaturity in a man for me, it’s just a complete no.
"I don’t like boys that are too cheeky, I just don’t trust them. Zach seems the most chilled and is nice to look at."
Adding who she thinks might be playing a game, she mused: "Yeah, potentially Mitch but I still want to get to know him. I’m just not sure whether he’s playing a game or not."
Referencing her first time on the show, where she fell head over heels for Scott, Kady said: "Last time I got with Scott straight away and I was so ‘tunnel vision’. It’ll be interesting to see what connections I’ll form this time."
