Manchester United could be set to make a decision on the future of Scotland hero Scott McTominay this summer.
The midfielder produced two stunning performances for Steve Clarke's side as they got their EURO 2024 qualifying campaign off to a flying start. McTominay first came off the bench to score a brace in an otherwise sticky 3-0 win over Cyprus before being at the double again to down Spain and earn the Tartan Army a first win over La Roja in 39 years. The 26-year-old, however, could be on the way out of Old Trafford.
Eddie Howe and Newcastle United are keeping their finger on the pulse of Scotland with reported interested in the Lancaster lad and a keen eye on Arsenal star Kieran Tierney. Yet it appears according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that any decision on McTominay's future will be left by Erik Ten Hag until the end of the season.

He tweeted: "Erik ten Hag will decide on the situation of Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay in the summer.
"Lindelof had Inter and Atlético Madrid interest in January, McTominay was and remains on Newcastle list. Man United will decide in the next months."
The popular Scottish star has found game time difficult at United, making eighteen appearances, mostly off the bench in recent weeks. He had started January's firecracker 3-2 loss to Arsenal in his last start.
