Scott Disick admits Kourtney and Travis relationship allowed him to finally 'move on'

Scott Disick has revealed that ex Kourtney Kardashian's intense relationship with Travis Barker has allowed him to finally move on from his ex.

The Talentless founder, 38, had an on-off relationship with the reality TV star, 42, and shares three kids with her - Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.

And even when the pair had split up, he seemed to hold a flame for the mother of his kids.

However, when asked for his thoughts on Kourtney dating Blink-182 drummer Travis, 46, his response surprised many.

At the premiere of Hulu's The Kardashians, Scott admitted the pair's relationship had meant he was "able to move on".

He said: "I always had her friends or our family in my ear kind of like, 'Don't worry, honey, eventually you guys will figure it out'.

"And, 'You'll get back together one day.' So my foot was always halfway in the door."

In a confessional on the new show, he revealed how he was upset more that he'd lost Kourtney "as a best friend" because of her new relationship.

He continued: "Now we're really just more of co-parenters. I would say it's probably one of the more difficult things in my life."

Scott confessed however that he still worries about the famous family forgetting him now he is no longer dating the POOSH founder.

When asked how he felt about not being invited to a family barbecue he said: "Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful, especially when I don't have another family to go to."

Scott's parents died within six months of each other in 2013 and 2014 and he is an only child.

Previously, Scott had seemingly welcomed Kim Kardashian's new beau Pete Davidson to the family.

Scott and Pete made news last month after the Saturday Night Live star, 28, appeared to take over Scott's Instagram to upload a clip of his pal falling asleep during a "wild boys night"

A source told E! Online : "They have become good friends.

"They both have the best sense of humour and it's always fun when they are together."

The source added the pair had been spending a bit of time together on a number of occasions, even away from the Kardashian family get togethers.
