SCOTT BROWN is set to bring former Celtic teammate Luca Connell to Fleetwood Town, according to reports.
The midfielder was released by the Hoops earlier this week after a loan spell with Queen's Park.
Connell moved to Parkhead from Bolton for a fee of £350,000 from Bolton back in 2019, but he has failed to break into the first-team plans.
Now the Scottish Sun say that the 21-year-old is being eyed by Brown as he looks to continue his build at Fleetwood.
Brown has already raided the Scottish transfer market to bring St Johnstone hero Shaun Rooney to The Cods.
The 25-year-old became a club hero at McDiarmid Park after scoring the winning goals for the Perth side in the finals of both the Premier Sports Cup and the Scottish Cup last term.
However, he has declined the opportunity to commit to a new deal with Saints and has instead opted to become former Celtic and Scotland captain Scott Brown’s first signing since being appointed manager of League One Fleetwood.
