Scott Brown managerial mystery as Celtic great predicted to take up job THIS summer by former teammate

Former Hibs striker Tam McManus expects to see Scott Brown in a managerial job by the start of next season.

And he wouldn't be shocked to see his former team-mate take up a role in his home kingdom of Fife.

Brown left Aberdeen in March after seeing his coaching responsibilities reduced by new boss Jim Goodwin – before officially retiring from playing last week.

The Dunfermline-born midfielder spent 14 years at Celtic, captaining the club to a plethora of domestic silverware.

“If Derek McInnes comes in a lot of Hibs supporters wouldn’t be happy with that but they’re hard to please.

“Going back to Scott Brown, I think he’ll be in a management job in the summer.

“He’s from Fife, so maybe somewhere in that region.”

Put to him that the Raith Rovers job is currently vacant, McManus shrugged: “I didn’t say that…”
