Scott Brown is preparing to shut out the noise as he prepares to meet his former Celtic manager Neil Lennon in the dugout for the first time.
Lennon is the new Pars boss, having taken over the role until the end of the season.
The Fife side are struggling in ninth position, as they look to stave off any automatic relegation worries, as well as the dreaded play-off.
Ayr will welcome Dunfermline to Somerset Park on Saturday afternoon.
And Brown admits his side will need to be at their best as they look to keep their slim title hopes alive against what he expects to be a resurgent Dunfermline side.
“There will be plenty of focus on Lenny going in there and he’s been hired to do a job over the coming seven games," he told the Ayrshire Post. "Nobody needs to tell me what a top manager he is and he’ll get a reaction out of them, I’ve no doubt about that.

“They’ll be organised under him and come down here with a point to prove, so it’s going to be a big test for us.
"We're not sure how they'll set up and what he'll look to come in and change, but we can only focus on ourselves and what we can affect.
"We need to go out there and get back to winning ways so it's a case of concentrating on our job and what we do.”
