Scott Arfield thinks Steven Gerrard will return to Rangers if the opportunity presents itself.
The midfielder played under the 44-year-old throughout his spell at Ibrox.
Arfield made 223 appearances in total for Rangers, scoring 43 goals and assisting 19 along the way.
He now plies his trade for Scottish Championship high-flyers Falkirk, and has been in fine fettle for the club of late.

His focus this evening, however, is on Rangers and their game against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Indeed, on punditry duty with TNT Sports for the clash, Arfield was asked whether Gerrard would return to Ibrox: "I think he would," he said live on air.
“I think he would personally, yeah."
Gerrard is currently out of work after resigning as manager of Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq in January.
The permanent Rangers job will become vacant in the summer once interim head coach Ferguson's stint is over.
Given the looming investment from 49ers Enterprises, there is likely to be vast change at Ibrox come the off-season. Whether a familiar face in Gerrard returns, however, remains to be seen.
