Scott Arfield 'huddle' sees Rangers eagle eyes insist all isn't as it seems with 'snub' spotted

Rangers fans reckon Scott Arfield snubbed Charlotte FC's huddle over the weekend even though the former Ibrox star appeared to take part at a glance.

The former Canada star made the move to Major League Soccer after leaving Rangers when his contract expired and has foregone a meaningful break to get straight down to business. He made his first start in the early hours of Sunday morning in a 2-2 draw with Cincinatti - in which his teammate Karol Swiderski's second goal went viral on social media for some hilarious 'Mickey Mouse' commentary.

But another moment from the MLS showdown has been widely shared with Rangers fans pouring over a snap appearing to show Arfield taking part in a huddle. The pre-match huddle was made iconic by rivals Celtic and although it's a common routine across the globe, various stars with Rangers allegiances have refused to take part with John Fleck and Oli McBurnie snubbing it at Sheffield United.

Arfield didn't follow suit completely but in a snap shared by the club, fans spotted he kept his arms by his side rather than linking up with his teammates. Some have taken it as a small act of defiance from Arfield with one fan writing 'yer man don't huddle.'
