Storm Huntley has been announced as the host of a brand new Channel 5 show.
The popular Scots presenter currently co presents the Jeremy Vine Show daily on the channel.
And now she has been revealed as the frontwoman of Jeremy Vine Extra, which will follow the original programme at 11.15am every day.
The premise is to continue the lively debates of the main show, explore the big stories which have emerged earlier and react to any breaking news.
Former weather girl Storm, from Bishopbriggs, is a huge draw for viewers and stands in for main host Jeremy when he is on holiday.
Ian Jones, Editor of Jeremy Vine and Jeremy Vine Extra added: “ This extra hour with Storm at the helm will enable us to delve deeper into the big stories of the day and the issues which matter to our audience."
Fans on Twitter have reacted with delight to the news of her new job.
One said: "I love Storm. About time she had more air time. On board with this idea."
One added: "Love Storm! She absolutely brightens up the morning? Clever, funny and a ray of sunshine!
And another said: "This is excellent news, it’s about time Storm was given her own slot. I wish her lots of luck, although I don’t think she will need it."
It's been a good few months for the star.
Last year we reported she she tied the knot to LaFontaines singer Kerr Okan.
