Scots TikToker Dazza stuns fans with McDonalds hack to get more food for less money

Popular Scots TikToker Dazza stunned fans with his McDonald's hack to get four Chicken Selects for less than the price of three.

The Glasgow comedian, real name Darren Dowling, delighted viewers with his recent find to ensure fast food fans get more for their money. The video has been viewed over 1.2million times and amassed over 74,000 likes, showing the 26-year-old explaining how to secure the deal.

He said: "I was scouring the UberEats app for good deals then once I realised you could take everything off a burger, I wondered if it was the same with chicken. I had a look at the wraps of the day and I realised you got two chicken selects in it AND they were cheaper, so I had to try it."

On the McDonald's menu, three Chicken Selects cost £4.30 as a set portion, but now thanks to Darren, fans can bag four for just £3.98. During the video, Darren - who posts on TikTok under the username @yerboidazza - explains if you purchase two wraps of the day and have everything else removed - including the wrap - you will be sent four Chicken Selects.

Once the order arrives, he delightedly shows fans all four Selects put into the box usually used for pancakes, describing it as "absolutely beautiful".

He continues: "All you need to do is just order the two wraps of the day take everything off it and there you go!"

Impressing fans with his savvy hack, viewers hailed Darren as a 'hero'. Someone wrote: "As a McDonald’s worker, I applaud you", followed by a crying with laughter face.

"This is monumental and has genuinely changed my life," added another person. One person simply wrote: "The hero we deserve."

However this has caused some worry among fast food fans that if this hack becomes popular enough, McDonald's might increase the price of the wraps. One concerned viewer wrote: "Please don’t be putting the price of wraps up now!"

"I swear if they put the price of wraps up because of this I'll come for you," another warned. A third agreed: "Please don't be putting the price of wraps up now."

This comes after the star appeared on Come Dine With Me last September against four other Scots in a bid to take home £1,000. Dazza left viewers reeling after deep frying everything on his menu, including lettuce.

Funnyman Darren served up, 'Chicken à la Nuggets' (homemade nuggets of chicken), deep fried in a crispy signature batter, served with deep-fried caviar.

For the main course, he treated his guests to 'Lasagne di Fritte' which is home-baked layers of egg pasta, beef ragu, and creamy sauce, all encased and deep-fried in a signature batter, served on a bed of crispy lettuce.

Rounding off the dinner party, the Scotsman whipped up a deep fried Mars Bar dubbed 'Scotland's Finest' on his menu, which was served with ice-cream. Darren's interesting menu even featured on Gogglebox, as the cast reacted to his deep fried feast which left people divided.
