Scots Tiktok car theft gang causing chaos and taunting cops on city streets

A brazen car theft gang has filmed itself causing shocking mayhem on Dundee’s city streets.

Nearly 20 Tiktok clips show the young thugs stealing top-of-the-range cars and motorbikes, speeding at over 120mph and taunting police officers.

They are seen racing head-on at drivers, shunting other cars on roundabouts and setting fire to expensive vehicles and bikes.

One piece of film taken from inside the city’s sheriff court earlier this year is titled ‘fkthecourts’ and displays the group’s complete disdain for law and order.

The account operates under the name ‘youvebeenchored’ and is run by a user called MostKT.

The site already has more than 1600 followers and 4300 likes and the latest clip was uploaded to the account less than 24 hours ago.

A variety of tags are used on almost every recording by the gang, including #fyp, #dundeesmostknown, #foryou, #InstaxChallenge and #dingerdaily.

The phrase 'participating in this activity could result in you or others getting hurt' has also been added to every clip.

The footage is filmed at various locations around Dundee including Fintry, Claverhouse Road and Caird Park as well as on sections of the Kingsway and the A90 heading north to Forfar.

The gang brag about their crimes with ‘Dundee boys do it best’ comments on some clips and Saltire flag emojis on others.

In some of the most shocking footage the gang have uploaded black and white CCTV footage of some of the thefts actually taking place.

It is understood these images may have been lifted from local community Facebook pages when homeowners first reported their vehicles or motorbikes - including BMWs and Kawazakis - being stolen and appealed for help.

It is unknown who the gang is or what area of the city they live in. They are nearly always hooded-up, wear black leather gloves and appear to smoke cannabis joints as they are driving.

All the clips have music playing over them so their voices can’t be identified.

It is obvious from some of the films that they have a complete lack of respect for the law and justice.

There are at least two clips of them speeding past a police transit van and getting chased by other police vehicles.

A clip filmed earlier this year to the sound track ‘Ah sh*t here we go again’ shows one of the young thugs heading to Dundee Sheriff Court and sitting in the public benches.

It displays the total lack of respect they have for the legal system or any form of law and order.

Other Tiktok users have commented on the clips with some praising the criminals.

A user called Tjmennie wrote: "exactly how it done lads."

While Ktoon_dingers69 commented: "Dundee boys doing it best like always."

However others slammed the neds for their shockingly dangerous and selfish behaviour.

A raging user called Chelsea wrote: "Why do you think it's clever to ram peoples cars??? That can possible have kids in it. Little scr***ms people are Onto who you are."

And she added: "Why take from other people then? What is it that you get out of doing what it is your doing? Is your mum and dad proud of you."

While Tiktok user youre_just_a_mink commented: "imagine being proud oh this! that's what happens when ur a mink & got nae qualifications, need to rob cos u can't afford the good stuff."

A local called Tik Toker simply said: "So this what men do when they don’t have jobs."

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
