A thug stabbed his friend to death then dropped him six minutes away from help.
Ben McCulloch, 27, attacked Stephen Quigley, 26, at his home in Barrhead, near Glasgow, in March last year.
McCulloch hit Stephen, of Neilston, on the side of the head with a knife then dumped him near a closed section of Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Stephen tried to walk to get help but was found dead the following morning outside a ward. McCulloch was initially charged with murder but pled guilty yesterday to culpable homicide.
Sentence was deferred for reports and Judge Lord Mulholland warned McCulloch: “You can expect a lengthy period in prison.”
