Scots teen reported missing after failing to return home from school

Police have launched an appeal for information in a bid to trace a missing teenager who has not been seen for three days.

Cole Rae, 15, went to school in Grangemouth on Wednesday March 2 as normal, but did not return home to the Marmion Road area of the town later that day.

Concerns are growing for his welfare and police have now made a public appeal for any leads that could offer up clues to his disappearance.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland's Forth Valley Division said: "We are appealing to the public for help to trace a 15-year-old boy reported missing from the Grangemouth area.

"Cole Rae attended his school on Wednesday, 2 March, but has not returned to his home in the Marmion Road area of the town and concerns are growing for his welfare.

"Anyone who has seen Cole or knows where he might be is asked to call us."

Teenager Cole is described as 6ft 2ins, of slim build with brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a Nike fleece top, black Nike jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 2169 of Thursday, 3 March, 2022.
