Scots teen reported missing a week ago as police launch urgent search

A frantic search is underway to trace a Scots teen who vanished a week ago.

Donald Balfour, 16, was last seen about 9am on Friday, June 16 in the Inverness area.

Police Scotland are appealing to the public and urging anyone with information on Donald's whereabouts to come forward.

Officers say the 16-year-old is described as 5ft9 tall, with short brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing black joggers and a grey hoodie.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Donald since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101."
