Scots singing sensations Lewis Capaldi and Joesef are currently battling it out for Top 10 album spot in the UK iTunes chart.
West Lothian singer Lewis, who is currently in tour and plays at the Hydro next Tuesday, is up there with his debut album 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent' for a second time after he released it back in 2019.
Joesef, who's from Glasgow, only released his debut album 'Permanent Damage' on Friday and is already sitting in the number 1 spot.
Lewis is throwing his support right behind Joesef though, he tweeted this afternoon telling people to go and buy 'Permanent Damage'.
Taking to social media, the Glasgow lad said: "Aye so, f****** hilarious could be in with a chance of a top ten record in the charts.
"As an independent artists this sort of stuff has always felt miles away, but it really would be nice to take a top ten back to Glasgow is nothing else.
"If you can buy it in any form, or even on iTunes where it's £4.99, that would be class, but whatever happens it's all good.
"Love yous forever, Joe xxxx"
In March, he will perform two nights at the Barrowland, which have already sold out.
