Breakout Scots singing sensation Callum Beattie proved he was game for a laugh after volunteering to become the victim of a dunk tank at a huge ladies' event at the SEC.
The Salamander Street singer, 32, stripped off for Pure Radio's 'Dunk-A-Hunk Tank' at the Girls' Day Out event on Friday at the Glasgow event campus.
He clambered into the tank while radio host Robin Galloway egged on passing girls to have a go at knocking him into the water.
But cheeky breakfast DJ Robin - who is renowned for his pranks - couldn't resist "testing" the equipment and dunking Callum in the water himself.
Scots radio legend Robin said: "Pure Radio was one the first Scottish stations to embrace Callum’s talent and we’ve a great relationship with him.
"He heard us talking about Dunk-A-Hunk on Pure and wanted to be first in the queue to be dunked!
"He took to the water tank like a musical Hob Knob takes to a mug of Scottish Blend Tea - what a trouper."
Speaking to Pure's Lynne Hoggan before taking to the tank, Callum joked: "My make-up is definitely coming off.
"I wouldn't say I'm a hunk but I'll take it, thanks very much."
Edinburgh man Callum rose to fame in 2019 after recording a song slating Boris Johnson as he competed with Tory rivals to replace Theresa May as Prime Minister.
His first album, People Like Us, shot to the top of the Scottish album charts in its first week of release in May 2020.
The singer has just finished recording his second album, Vandals, and is on the line-up at Glasgow music festival TRNSMT this summer.
Girls' Day Out is on at the SEC until Sunday May 8.
