A schoolgirl who went missing overnight from East Lothian, prompting an urgent police search has been traced safe and well.
Holly Monteith disappeared from the Prestonpans area at around 3pm on Tuesday, January 3.
The 14-year-old was then believed to have been sighted in the Meadowbank area of Edinburgh in the early hours Wednesday, January 4. She was then allegedly spotted in Edinburgh City Centre.
Cops have since confirmed that, following a search, Holly has been traced safe and well.
