An emergency rescue mission was launched by a RNLI crew in Fife after a stranded dog was cut off by the tide.
The pet had been on a coastal walk with its owner at Ravenscraig Park in Kirkcaldy, on the Firth of Forth on Sunday, May 7, when it got into difficulty.
The Kinghorn RNLI crew were altered to the incident at 3.35pm and set out in the foggy conditions with limited visibility.
The team managed to locate the missing cocker spaniel and pulled it from the shore onto a lifeboat.
It was then taken to Kirkcaldy Harbour to be reunited with it's owner.
Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat posted: "dog cut off by the tide at the foot of a wall at Ravenscraig Park, near Kirkcaldy. The dog was brought on board the Lifeboat and taken to Kirkcaldy Harbour to be reunited with his owner.
Visibility for both rescues was very limited, and our crew did well navigating safely to, from and on scene for both rescues."
