East Lothian residents were left in hysterics after spotting two people riding a dodgem down a quiet residential street.
In a video posted by Tik Tok user Amy Turner, the couple can be seen casually driving the bumper car - usually found in fairgrounds and theme parks - along a pavement in Musselburgh.
The riders happily continue down the street, seemingly unfazed by the attention their colourfully-lit motor is attracting from passing drivers.
Filmed from a moving vehicle, the clip was shared with the caption: "The things you see in Musselburgh."
The viral video has since garnered over 377,000 views and more than 30,000 likes, with many viewers flocking to the comments section to share their own take on the bizarre scene.
One commenter wrote: "Tell me u live in the uk without telling me". Another said: "seen it aw noo".
Others were impressed by the unusual means of travel, with one user commenting: "I want one". Some else joked: "These electric cars are becoming so much more affordable these days."
