A Scots primary school teacher has been banned from the classroom after manhandling and reducing her pupils to tears.
The teacher, Lorna Westcott, shouted at children and left them shaking and crying at Toryglen Primary.
Her career is now in ruins after she was struck off from the teacher register for admitting the shocking behaviour, reports Glasgow Live.
A report published this week revealed that Westcott admitted incidents involving five different children between August 2018 and March the following year at the school.
The General Teaching Council for Scotland heard she bawled "can you not answer a simple question" at one child and shouted at others. She also threatened to visit their homes if they didn't come to school.
She also is said to have intimidated another teacher, by pointing her finger in her face and bawling "this conversation does not go any further".
The report also detailed how she walked into a classroom and grabbed the hands of two children to separate them.
She grabbed one boy under the armpits and used her legs to move his body, then pushed him into a padded room.
She also grabbed another young girl from the floor and grabbed her hands and took her to a sink and forcibly made the girl put a tap off.
At a later date she hauled one of the children from the playground by the arm, forcing him to walk back inside, pushing him so hard he fell backwards onto a tent.
Westcott agreed to be removed from the Register of Teachers, which means she is unable to work in her profession unless she makes a successful application to be reinstated in at least two years time.
