A health worker was caught with £14,000 of cannabis in his car after being pulled over by police for speeding.
Fraser Gow was found with the drug haul after officers detected a “strong smell” of cannabis coming from inside the vehicle.
NHS worker Gow, 31, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday and admitted being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug.

Fiscal depute Susan Dickson said police spotted a car driven by Gow on the A1 northbound near Tranent, East Lothian, at 5.45pm.
Ms Dickson said the officers believed it may have been exceeding the speed limit, reports the Daily Record.
Gow was signalled to stop, she added, and officers smelled cannabis in the car.
The court was told a search was conducted and two large bags of cannabis were recovered, one weighing 968g and the other 977g.
The prosecutor said the cannabis, if broken into ounce deals, was valued at £14,400.
Gow pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of drugs on March 6 last year, the day his car was stopped.

Defence agent Mr Finlay said Gow worked as a floor layer for NHS Tayside.
Sheriff Kenneth Campbell QC deferred sentence on Gow, of Dundee, until next month for reports.
