A Scots mum couldn’t believe her eyes when she spotted a ‘ghost plane from the war’ in a photograph taken of the night sky.
Spiritualist Ada Donaldson was visiting Edinburgh Castle for the light show on December 2 when the picture of the capital’s skyline was snapped.
But it was only when the mum and her daughters got home did she clock that there was something unusual hidden in the sky that night. She believes it shows an old fighter-style plane hidden amongst the clouds.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, she said: “Myself and my family were all there and nine of us hadn't seen anything till she posted the pictures today."
The mum also explained it wasn't the first time she had spotted something peculiar in a photo. She said: "I've seen loads as I'm actually a spiritualist medium and paranormal investigator.
"It was my daughter Louise Donaldson that took the photo."
Sharing the incredible find she wrote on Facebook: "Omg my Louise took this photo from Edinburgh Castle on Friday night as we were going in to see the light show - can anybody else see the old war plane in it?"
Lesley Higginson Grandison said: "Wow that's amazing." Letty Dugan added: "Amazing photo."
While another wrote: "If it is not a war plane she has captured a ufo!!"
