A Scots Marilyn Monroe look-a-like has been left devastated after being bombarded with death threats over her baby’s name.
Jasmine Chiswell was anxious to tell the world what her new-born son was called in a viral TikTok, but was stunned by the nasty response.
The social media star from Carluke, South Lanarkshire, shot to fame on TikTok after showing her life living in Marilyn Monroe’s former mansion.
She is the spitting image of the iconic celeb and even swapped Scottish mountains for the Hollywood Hills to pursue her dream of working as a film producer.
Now she has hit out at trolls who were ‘bullying her three week old son’ named Midnight, begging trolls to back off.
Her name reveal video raked in over 25 million views on TikTok and her second video confronting nasty comments saw almost 18 million views.
Jasmine posted on social media: “I’m not going to lie [the comments] suck.
“My husband and I were nervous about sharing his name online, but with everyone asking we thought okay it’s time let's do it.
“So I made a video and I posted it two days ago and the comment section was, oh my goodness, brutal.
“My husband and I both absolutely love the name and we aren’t going to change it, but the comments were literally bullying my three week old son.
“I just don’t think that is right, and to be honest it made me really really sad.
“People were also sending my husband and I death threats through DMs just over my babies name.
“That is extremely unfair and not okay.
“We didn’t expect everyone to like the name, it is one of those names you either love it or hate it.
“But please be kind and if you don’t like it please just scroll by.”
Jasmine regularly posts Tik Tok tours of the Some Like It Hot star's opulent $2.7million mansion nestled in California's Runyon Canyon, which she shared with her husband Joe DiMaggio during their marriage in 1954.
She shared her pregnancy journey last year before finally revealing little boy Midnight on the 28th of January 2020, in a video that raked in over 25 million views.
Most fans gushed over the adorable tot but unfortunately trolls have also swarmed her account since.
The blogger has even been pelted with criticism that she ‘cuddles her newborn too much’ and some fans complained she wasn’t dressing vintage enough while pregnant.
Jasmine, who is a self-confessed 1950s vintage lover, described her journey from Glasgow to LA on social media, and how she went from feeling her "life wasn't worth living" to following her dreams.
In a Tik Tok video, the Scottish star explains: "At 17 years old, I thought my life was over. I failed all my exams and my parents went through a nasty divorce and I honestly thought life wasn't worth living.
"I had to get some money in so I started acting in various BBC kids shows and then I realised my love for film production and I had to pursue it."
Jasmine explains how she was "over the moon" when got her degree in film production in Glasgow and started getting recognitions for film jobs.
