A man who died after being struck by a car in Paisley has been hailed as a "wonderful human being" by heartbroken loved ones.
Stuart Crawford, 37, suffered critical injuries after being struck by a silver Ford Fiesta while walking on the town's Causeyside Street at around 10.15pm on Saturday March 11.
Ambulance crews attended but Stuart was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Officers sealed off the street for seven hours while a full investigation was carried out.
Stuart has been described as "the best guy you could ever wish to meet" by loved ones on social media.
Ian Madeley said: "I had the pleasure of knowing Stuart for many years, he was also an usher at my wedding.

"What an absolute gent of a guy who couldn't do enough for his friends. What a loss. Gone but never forgotten my friend."
Hazel Hay said: "Can’t believe this has happened to just one of the best people - it’s going to be a while before this news sinks in.
"It is a testament to Stuart how much his work friends are grieving right now - he was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. I am so pleased to have had him as a brilliant colleague."
Kris Sawers added: "Love you forever my friend. RIP. The nicest fella I will ever meet."
Lesley Sylvester said: "The nicest guy ever. Our hearts are broken as he will no longer be with us. We are all so grateful to have had Stuart in our lives. I will miss our football chat. Rest in peace dear friend. You will never be forgotten."

Police Scotland has launched an appeal to trace the drivers of a red Ford Fiesta and a silver-coloured estate car who they believe witnessed the crash. They believe the estate car may have been a taxi.
Sergeant Christopher Hoggans said: "Our thoughts remain with Stuart’s family and friends at this difficult time.
"Our enquiries are still ongoing and we are keen to trace the drivers of a red Ford Fiesta, and a silver-coloured estate car, possibly a taxi, who might have witnessed the crash.
"I would also ask anyone with any dash cam footage or private CCTV which may assist us to contact us."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 4151 of March 11.
