Scots Love Island star Jay ruffles feathers as Jacques threatens to 'flatten' him

Scots Love Island star Jay is set to ruffle some feathers in the villa tonight.

Jay Younger, a 28-year-old Investment Analyst from Edinburgh, and 22-year-old model Remi Lambert, who hails from Manchester, are both the latest names to join the line-up as bombshells.

However, in a teaser for Wednesday night's episode, Jay is set to bump heads with Jacques as he threatens to 'flatten' him.

It all kicks off following their debut at the end of Tuesday's visit to the villa, with the preview showing some of the girls having their heads turned.

Jay Younger, 28, works as an investment analyst and studied at Heriot-Watt University (ITV)

During a chat with the lads at the firepit, Jay confidently tells the group: "I'm not here to make friends. I'm not here for seasonal boyfriends."

He then appears to make a jibe at Jacques, who soon retaliates, as a rattled Jacques asks him: "What do you do big boy?".

Feeling threatened, Jacques responds: "I play rugby lad," and Jay says: "You're a bit small for a rugby player, no?" to which Jacques responds: "Oh really? If you run at me I'll flatten you, so..."

It comes amid claims a planned bombshell quit the series before entering the villa - with two more boys since arriving, following the departure of Afia Tonkmor.

Fans have speculated that Jay might try to couple up with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu (ITV)

The latest Scot to join the ITV2 dating show already has a claim to fame with a well known relative.

Talking about his family in The Mirror, he said: "My grandad played for Liverpool and he was captain of Scotland back in the 1950s. He was in the hall of fame for Liverpool and he was in the hall of fame for Hibernian."

Jay's grandfather is Scottish football star Tommy Younger. He made his debut for Liverpool, who Michael also played for, in August 1956, with his last appearance for the club taking place three years later.

The goalkeeper also captained Scotland's 1958 World Cup squad and played for his country on a handful of occasions.

Now this summer, Jay is looking for love and says his friends and family would describe him as laid back but he vows to be at the centre of the party.

He said: "They would probably describe me as quite unassuming but they’d say I am probably the heart of the party.

"I think I am at the point in my life where it would be quite fun to find someone and have fun along the way. And doing it in Mallorca and in the Villa would be a great opportunity, so why not?"

However, he could be causing quite a stir in the villa as he admits he is very "indecisive".
