A teen who was reported missing after not returning home from school has now been found. Hannah Snodgrass, 15, had left her home in Bridge Of Weir, Renfrewshire, at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, August 24.
The schoolgirl hadn't been heard from since and concerns for her welfare had grown from both her family and the police. The force had issued an appeal online in a bid to trace her.
And Hannah's mum had taken to social media to make a frantic plea for news on her daughter's whereabouts. Taking to Twitter, she revealed Hannah often frequents Johnstone, Bridge of Weir, Lochwinnoch and Kilbirnie.
Posting as @Kirst22c, she wrote: "My daughter hasn't returned from school. Please retweet and chase any teens hanging around the streets home. Police have been contacted. She's not in any trouble, just call me!!"
Hannah was described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with long fair or blonde hair. She had been wearing a white and pink T-shirt, black fleece style jacket, blue leggings and black and white converse trainers at the time of her disappearance.
Hannah is also known to frequent Braehead and the surrounding areas, but also has links to the Patna area of Ayrshire.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police are happy to confirm that Hannah Snodgrass has been traced.
"We'd like to thank the public for their assistance."
