Scots police officers have recovered a huge quantity of class A drugs in two separate hauls.
Officers from the Violence Reduction Unit at Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division carried out the raids on properties in Paisley on Thursday April 14.
Upon entry to the properties the cops found drugs, believed to be heroin, with a street value of around £20,000.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers from the Violence Reduction Unit based at Ferguslie Park Police Office carried out searches under warrant at two addresses in the Paisley area on Thursday 14th April.
"A large quantity of class A drugs with a Street value of £20,000 were recovered and 2 persons arrested for drug supply offences.
“This was a significant operation carried out by officers to target individuals responsible for supplying harmful substances across Renfrewshire.
“We will continue to investigate and carry out these operations to disrupt the supply of illegal substances in the community.
“We would urge any member of the public who has concerns about the supply of drugs to please get in touch with us.”
