Scots dad keeps chocolate Revel that looks like Jesus enshrined in fridge for two years

A dad is so convinced this chocolate Revel looks like baby Jesus that he has kept it like a shrine in his fridge for two years - and banned his kids from eating it.

Myles Campbell said he was at home watching a film while munching on a bag of the assorted chocolates when he felt that one had a rather peculiar shape. But when the 38-year-old pulled it out of the bag, he was stopped in his tracks, as he noticed that it resembled a 'wee baby Jesus '.

The stunned dad- of-three said he couldn't bring himself to devour his 'divine' discovery so has kept it in the fridge for the past 20 months. Photos captured by the painter and decorator reveal the brown chocolate with a white blob on it complete with eyes and mouth - that resembles a swaddled baby Jesus Christ from the nativity.

Myles, of Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, Scotland, said: "I was just watching a film at home eating a bag of revels and I put my hand in and one felt kind of funny. I looked at it and thought it looked strange.

"It just looked like a wee baby Jesus. It stopped me immediately, it was the strangest thing. I was surprised and my reaction was to show the kids and they agreed that's what it looked like."

The astonished dad found the chocolate that he claims resembles the son of God last March. He said that eating it is 'completely off the cards' and that his kids know it's off limits too.

Myles said: "I couldn't bring myself to eat it, it still lives in my fridge. My children know not to eat it, they don't touch it.

"I don't know what type of revel it is. It's maybe two or three of them joined together. It could be an orange cream or a coffee cream, but I wouldn't like to disclose that because a lot of people don't like the coffee creams.

"I don't know how long I'll keep it, until my wife finds that I've forgotten about it I suppose, then it will just disappear. It's made it into the new fridge though as my wife moved him in there."
