Scots cyclist with specialised bike missing for a week as family grow concerned for welfare

A family is growing concerned for a Scots cyclist who has been missing for a week.

Jordan Findlay, from Avonbridge in Falkirk, was last seen in the Aberdeenshire village of Braemar on Friday June 24.

Family members say Jordan was intending to take a cycling trip but has not been in contact since and they are increasingly worried about his welfare.

Authorities believe the 24-year-old may have made his way to Skye.

Jordan is described as 5ft 11ins, of slim build and with short blond or fair hair. He was last seen wearing a black rucksack and black trousers.

He is believed to be riding a specialised 'Pitch' green hardtail bike, fitted with a pannier.

Anyone with any information, or who has been in contact with Jordan, are urged to assist Police Scotland with their enquiries by calling 101 and quoting 3696 of 30/6/22.
