The 35-year-old was detained after drugs and cash are said to have been discovered at a property in the town of Sauchie, near Alloa and Stirling. The bust was revealed on the Forth Valley Police Division Facebook page.

A post read: "On Tuesday 3rd January 2023, Officers from the Community Policing team at Alloa and Operational Support Unit, executed two drug search warrants at addresses in the Sauchie area.

"A quantity of controlled drugs and a substantial amount of cash were recovered. As a result of this operation, a 35-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the recovery of drugs and cash."
