Scots cops release image of man following serious assault in Glasgow

Police have released the image of a man they say could help them with enquiries into a serious assault outside a subway station in Glasgow.

Officers say the man could have information that could assist them with the investigation into the attack at the entrance of St Enoch Subway Station in St Enoch Square at around 5.30pm on Sunday May 1 2022.

He was last seen heading south on St Enoch Square towards Howard Street. CCTV images appear to show him making a phone call as he leaves the area.

Police have described the man as being between 25 and 30 years of age, around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build.

On the day he was wearing a red Adidas tracksuit top with "distinctive" white strips on each sleeve, blue denim trousers and white trainers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are appealing to the man, or to anyone who recognises him, or who may have information about the assault, to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number AB00320522."
