Police on the Isle of Arran have renewed their appeal for information to trace a 49-year-old man who has not been seen since Thursday morning.
Mariusz Robert Batrya was last seen at 7.40am on June 29 in the village of Lamlash, on the island's east coast. He was reported missing on Saturday and an appeal was issued later that day.
Police have established he was last spotted in Shore Road opposite the Ship House stores, but has not been seen since. Officers have previously said there were "growing concerns" for Mariusz's welfare and have appealed for anyone who may have information, or who may have seen him, to get in touch.
Mariusz is described as white, around 5ft 10ins in height and of stocky build. He has greying brown hair and was last seen wearing grey shorts, a blue jumper/hoodie and a blue/navy Nike rucksack.
Inspector Stuart Dougan, of Police Scotland's Ayrshire Division, said: “We have been working to establish Mariusz's movements before he was reported missing and extensive searches have been carried out, but sadly so far without success.
“We now are confident that he was in Shore Road on Thursday, 29 June, 2023 around 7.40 am and I appreciate some time has now passed but I would urge people to think back.
"Please let us know as soon as possible if you believe you might have any information that could help.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1280 of Saturday, 1 July, 2023.
