Scots comedian Susie McCabe shares hilarious parallel of English heatwave vs Glasgow weather

Scots comedian Susie McCabe has shared a hilarious comparison of the UK-wide heatwave and the current weather conditions in Glasgow.

The comic posted a video of herself pounding the pavements of Scotland's biggest city in a downpour as she discussed the rocketing temperatures being experienced down south and the warnings which have been put out to keep people safe.

In the video, Susie can be seen walking through the streets of Glasgow in just a t-shirt as big grey clouds loom in the background. Talking over the noise of the torrential rain, Susie said: "Currently a heatwave going up the country right now, 32 degrees in some places."

"Heatwave warning getting extended from Sunday into Monday. Keep the elderly safe, keep the young safe. Wear factor 50, always have water - especially on public transport."

She adds: "If you can't do any of that, there's always Glasgow," as she turns the camera round to show the rain pouring through the streets.

Fans found the video absolutely hilarious, and took to the comments.

One penned: "Cannae beat Scottish humour," Another replied: "Absolutely loving the Glasgow 'heatwave'!"

A third wrote: "Theres always glasgow," A fourth quipped: "Glasgow today. Stop moaning about the heat. Two days in a row ma washin’s got soaked."

One fan replied: "If it’s any consolation, I’m a ginger Glaswegian struggling down south in Saharan temperatures where you can’t breathe. Currently wearing factor ‘duffle coat’ sun cream"
