ScotRail have warned of a "significant" impact to rail services in Scotland as thousands of railway workers look set to stage three days of strikes later this month.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) at Network Rail and 13 train operators will walk out on June 21, 23 and 25, in what is being regarded as the biggest outbreak of industrial action in the industry in a generation.
The RMT said rail staff who worked through the pandemic were facing pay freezes and hundreds of job cuts.

ScotRail took to Twitter to issue an update following confirmation of the strike, advising that it will result in a "limited service operating, if at all".
They tweeted: "ScotRail update as RMT union announces strikes on 21, 23 & 25 June: As this includes Network Rail staff in Scotland, our services will be affected.

"The impact is expected to be significant with a limited service operating, if at all. We'll share more info when we have it."
The RMT said more than 50,000 railway workers will walk out on June 21, adding that the action will affect the national railway network for the entire week.
