ScotRail services from Glasgow face disruption after 'person struck by train'

PEOPLE travelling from Glasgow Queen Street are facing disruption following reports of “a person being struck by a train”.

In a post on its Twitter account, ScotRail said: “Unfortunately we have received reports of a person being struck by a train between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy.

“We are working closely with emergency services during this time and will keep you updated.

“All services via the upper level of Queen Street are subject to delay.”

When one user asked about the 3.07pm service from Queen Street to Inverness, ScotRail said it was “too early to say”.

The train operator said it would post more information via social media “as soon as anything is confirmed”.
