ScotRail issues warning to Glasgow passengers as disruption continues

ScotRail has issued a warning to anyone traveling with their services on Sunday, October 30.

This follows a day of strike action that saw the majority of trains cancelled on Saturday, October 29. While most services are up and running again, the train firm has warned passenger to expect some disruption as a result of an overtime ban.

Taking to Twitter, ScotRail said: "Travelling today? Most services will run as normal, however, there will be some disruption as a result of an overtime ban by ScotRail RMT union members. All changes to services are shown on our website and app."

With this, a number of Glasgow trains have been impacted including the 6.16pm Glasgow Queen Street to Alloa due 7:00pm, which will be cancelled. Six services from Glasgow to Edinburgh have also been cancelled amongst others.

The cancelled Glasgow - Edinburgh routes are;

  • 2:00pm Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street
  • 4:00pm Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh
  • 9:30pm Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street
  • 10:30pm Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street
  • 10:30pm Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh
  • 11:30pm Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh

ScotRail is urging customers to check their journey before they head off.
