ScotRail has issued a warning to travellers that there will be "cancelled, delayed or revised" train services in Glasgow on Wednesday.
The train operator took to Twitter to inform passengers of a "signalling issue between Perth and Gleneagles". This will affect services between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness until it is resolved.
Posting on Twitter, ScotRail wrote: "We’ve been advised by @NetworkRailSCOT of a signalling issue between Perth and Gleneagles. Staff are on site investigating and we’ll keep you updated.

"Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee/Aberdeen/Inverness will be cancelled, delayed or revised."
Shortly after the post, the operator issued an update, stating: "Signalling staff have carried out temporary repairs to allow us to move ‘trapped’ trains, and they’re still working on the fault."
Further information was shared on the ScotRail website, reading: "Because of a fault with the signalling system between Perth and Gleneagles all lines are closed. Disruption is expected to last until around 10:00 today.
"Our services are unable to operate between Gleneagles and Perth until staff have rectified the fault."
