Scotland take on Spain at Hampden on Tuesday as they look to continue their positive start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Steve Clarke's side defeated Cyprus 3-0 during the opening match of the group and they will be looking to cause an upset at the national stadium.
Former World champions and two-time Euros winners Spain will provide a stern test.
They are coming off a 3-0 victory against Norway on matchday one.
Clarke feels his squad is in a good place going into the fixture but has acknowledged his side will be in for a tough game.
Speaking ahead of the match, he said: "Cyprus were a different proposition. We had more attacking opportunities than maybe we will get in the next match, but when we get attacking opportunities against Spain we have to capitalise on them.
"They have changed quite a lot of players from the World Cup but all the players are still quality players, they understand the system and how they want to play.
"They are a possession-based side with players who can hurt you in the final third. We will have to be organised and structured.
"You don't want to over commit, certainly early in the game, and against Spain you know that if you over commit you run the risk of being picked off.
"So we have to be good and patient without the ball but we also have to be very positive when we have the ball.
"We have to be ready to be out of possession a little bit more than we were at the weekend, where we dominated possession."
