Scotland will target a winning start to Euro 2024 qualification today with a match-up against Cyprus.
The Mediterranean nation have lost all seven of their previous meetings with the Scots and, ranked 110th in the world, are expected to be the whipping boys in a Group A that also contains Spain and Norway.
However, some decent results last year including a win at Israel and a pair of draws with Northern Ireland suggest they can give Scotland a game this afternoon. Steve Clarke’s side, meanwhile, are hoping to build on winning their Nations League group last year.
