Steve Clarke has named a host of Lanarkshire stars in his Scotland squad for crucial play-off matches against Ukraine and potentially Wales.
Celtic duo David Turnbull, from Wishaw, and Bellshill-born Anthony Ralston are called upon after strong campaigns at Parkhead in a Premiership title-winning term.
Motherwell captain and Wishaw's Stephen O'Donnell is also selected, as is club vice-captain Liam Kelly.
Lewis Ferguson of Hamilton is the other called upon by Clarke while former Albion Rovers striker Ross Stewart is picked in attack following promotion to the English Championship at Sunderland.
There's a major blow to be found though. Muirhouse's Kieran Tierney misses out through a knee injury after the former Celtic left-back suffered a problem that side-lined him at Arsenal.
Victory over Ukraine and Wales would seal Scottish passage to a first World Cup since 1998, while there are also Nations League matches to come.
