SCOTLAND's 10 best state secondary schools have been revealed in The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide for 2025.
High schools across the country, including Jordanhill School in Glasgow and Boroughmuir High School in Edinburgh were featured.
A number of other schools also received awards for academic excellence.
Helen Davies, the editor of Parent Power, said that today's education landscape is "challenging" with teacher shortages, rising student mental health issues, and special educational needs putting strain on the sector.
However, she added that there is also "so much to celebrate" such as the hard work of passionate and committed teachers.
She said that as well as celebrating the academic excellence of the top schools it is also "fantastic" to see how they are shaping their students.
