Scotland's 'best seafood establishment' has launched a new 'pocket-friendly' menu to help Scots beat the winter blues this January and February.
East Coast in Musselburgh will be serving up a series of seafood classics and heart-warming comfort food for cost-conscious diners on select days this winter. Located approximately 25 minutes out of Edinburgh city centre, it is home to both a modern fish and chip shop and a fresh new seafood and grill restaurant.
Crowned the 'Best Seafood Establishment' at the recent Food Awards Scotland, East Coast is allowing diners to chow down on free unlimited refills on every main portion as part of its' 'Mussel Wednesday' promotion from the shellfish sourced daily from Shetland.
Another new offer being introduced is the 'Thursday Club', when evening diners can enjoy 20 per cent off their entire food bill.
The deal includes some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, such as its 'Harbour Bowl' of calamari, beer battered king prawns, tiger prawns, and battered catch of the day.
Additionally, between 4pm and 5pm every Saturday and Sunday, East Coast will run an Oyster Happy Hour promotion. During this time, customers can order fresh oysters from Cumbrae and Loch Fyne for just £1.50 per shuck.

As well as being crowned ‘Best Seafood Establishment’ at the Food Awards Scotland, East Coast was voted ‘Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2022 – East Lothian Customer Service Excellence Award 2022’ in the Scottish Enterprise Awards, as well as given the ‘LUXlife Food & Drink’ award for ‘Fish & Chip Takeaway of the Year 2022 – Edinburgh & The Lothians’.
