SCOTLAND fans have been urge to stand in solidarity with their Ukrainian counterparts next week as they teams face each other in the World Cup play-offs.
Steve Clarke's men will face Ukraine at Hampden next Wednesday at the semi-final stage, with a one-off match against Wales for a place at Qatar 2022 at stake.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine is still ongoing, having started in February this year.
And ahead of next week's delayed game, Scotland supporters have been urged to sing the Ukrainian national anthem as a show of unity between the countries.
Shche ne vmerla Ukrainy, is the title of the song.
Duolingo, the language education service, has arranged for members of the Tartan Army to be given lyrics to the anthem.
Colin Watkins, UK Country Manager at Duolingo, said: “Football unites people, with the World Cup the pinnacle for this, but we all know this match carries even more significance, and the eyes of the world will be watching.
"We want all Scotland fans and all football fans to show their solidarity in song and show the world they are united with Ukraine through language.”
