Social media users have been left in stitches after a best man speech went viral on TikTok.
Kirstie and Gary Currie, as well as all of their friends and family, were treated to the hilarious speech detailing an unusual Christmas morning at the groom's parent's house a few years back.
The now Mr and Mrs Currie were forced to move their wedding date due to the pandemic and finally made it down the aisle on their third attempt in September last year.
After wedding in a chapel, the celebrations moved to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dunblane Hydro where things took a turn as best man and brother of the groom, Derek, took centre stage.
He told the crowd how he came downstairs to a slap from his mother as she told him 'what have I told you about bring people back here'.
But it transpired it was in fact Gary who had a visitor in his room.
Derek told his audience how he flung open the door, and much to the bride's dismay, found Kirstie 'with her legs at ten to two'.
Just to rub in the embarrassment, he continued: "She certainly never came doon the chimney in that position anyway."
But Kirstie took it all in her stride and told how she expected her new brother-in-law to get up to no good in his speech.
She told the Record: ""It was our third wedding date and at that point anything would do.
"I kind of knew something would happen during Derek's speech, but that is just Derek. I can't complain."
"Austin asked if he could post the TikTok but I didn't know it would blow up so much.
"The amount of messages I have been getting is crazy. People are asking "have you seen that TikTok?"
"I think I might need to change my name!"
The moment was captured by wedding video specialists at We Are One Wedding Films (@weareoneweddingfilms) who have since shared the clip on social media platform TikTok.
The video has been viewed a huge 5.2million time since being posted on TikTok just three days ago.
Austin, one half of the wedding video company, said he was shocked by but over the moon with the response.
"It was 100 per cent the funniest best man speech we have ever seen", Austin said.
"A lot of people just search Google for 'best man speech' and end up talking about the same kind of thing."
With millions of views, over 450,000 likes and 37,000 shared, the TikTok has taken social media by storm.
The attention has been welcomed by Austin who has now received inquiries from down south and even one from Australia.
Austin added: "My phone has been going off the hook".
Kirstie explained that We Are One Wedding Films did a great job throughout the whole day and highly recommends the team.
