Scot popstar Lewis Capaldi 'done dirty' as his face is carved in pumpkin for Halloween

Lewis Capaldi has shared a video of a pumpkin carving of his face, however, fans say the singer has been 'done dirty'.

On his Instagram the Brit award winner shared a video from Amazon Music's account of a pumpkin in the progress of being carved, a face is then revealed which is supposed to be the likeness of the 26-year-old, but it is rather ambiguous, reports the Daily Record.

Sharing the video, Amazon Music wrote: "I see no difference... Happy Halloween #lewiscapaldi (we (heart emoji) ya) [Carving by @totallypumpkins ]."

Following the post fans flooded the comments to dispute whether it was the singer.

One wrote: "They’ve done him dirty." While another added: "This doesn’t look like him!"

While one commented: "This is a joke right?" Another added: "That's not Lewis Capaldi that's Ellen Degeneres."

And another wrote: "Looks more like Susan Boyle."

When Lewis shared the video he simply captioned it with a laughing emoji so it's unclear whether or not he's offended or impressed. Earlier this week Lewis' UK tour sold out in a matter of minutes of going on sale.

Many fans missed out on tickets and were left upset. They pleaded with star to add more dates, however, the Forget Me singer revealed that it was not possible.

He wrote: “Hello thought I’d also just say before these go on sale that there won’t be any extra dates for any cities.

“I really wish I could but I’m just one small chubby human who has to try to get to see as many of you all over the world as possible.”

He continued: "I also know that I'm only coming to a small number of the amazing places in the world, I'd love more than anything to be able to see every single one of ya but sadly it's not possible."
