A man accused of murdering a woman by stabbing her to death at his home is due to face trial over the claims.
Craig Walker, 39, is alleged to have repeatedly knifed Lauren Wilson, 34, in the neck at his home in Renfrew.
And prosecutors claim that Walker, of the burgh town's Cardon Square, also tried to cover up the alleged crime.
He faces charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice and his second court hearing in connection with the case took place at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.
Miss Wilson was pronounced dead at the flat in question on Wednesday, May 26, and Walker was arrested in connection with her murder.

He was held in police custody for two nights and his first court hearing took place last Friday.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody at that hearing for prosecutors to investigate further.
Yesterday, his second court hearing took place at the Renfrewshire court house.
He again made no plea during the hearing, where he was represented by defence solicitor Tony Callahan, of law firm Renfrew Defence Lawyers.
Sheriff Lindsey Kooner fully committed Walker for trial and remanded him in custody.
No future court dates have been set, but Walker is set to go on trial in due course, subject to delays to the Scottish justice system caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
