Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine appears in Glasgow south side street

Glasgow attracts so many characters - be it famous actors, musicians or comedians, and many of them come from the city itself.

The Mystery Machine (yes, the real thing!) was parked up on Waverley Gardens on Sunday evening.

While the rest of the gang were missing, we can only assume they are interviewing the Janitor at Shawlands Academy, or doing a door to door looking for some further clues.

The appearance of one of our favourite cartoon sleuth's method of transport could have a very logical reason behind it - perhaps being the van of the Scooby Doo Mystery Limo Hire - but as that's unconfirmed, we'd prefer to stick with our belief that it is the very real thing.

Zoinks, Glasgow - could there be a monster in our midst?
