A schoolboy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Falkirk this afternoon.
The accident happened on King Street in Stenhousemuir town centre, at its junction with Hallam Road, just after 3pm.
A number of police cars were spotted at the scene along with an ambulance, and cops have tonight confirmed he was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital nearby for treatment.
The boy's age isn't known at this time. His injuries aren't thought to be serious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.10 pm on Friday, 28 January , 2022, police were called after a boy was struck by a car on King Street at Hallam Road, Stenhousemuir.
"The child was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
"No detail on injury. No further police action."
